GIGAPIPE sealing ring

Rubber sealing ring corresponds to WCL¹ type . In accordance with EN 681-1/A3 specifications.
The ring grants a hermetic seal with a pressure rating of > 0.5 bar (for the coupling area). The product is specially adapted for work in Northern Europe and Scandinavia (in low-temperature conditions) and is also resistant to oil².
¹ WCL-type rubber sealing rings may be used in cold non-potable water supply, drainage, sewerage, and rainwater systems (constant flow up to + 45 °C and intermittent flow up to + 95 °C), and assembly work may be performed at reduced temperatures.
² The sealing ring is resistant to oil according to the requirements of EN 681-2 p.5.10. Compliance is determined by the "Volume change in oil" test according to ISO 1817.

Nordic Polymark certification
The low-profile (LP) sealing rings are available in two variants, with or without Nordic Polymark NP certification. Sealing rings without it will be easier to mount, but will provide considerably less resistance to deformation, which also impacts the hermetic resistance of the pipe coupling area. However, sealing rings with NP certification will be considerably more resistant to environmental factors and provide a leakproof connection between pipes under the most demanding conditions.
